About our EMDR Service.

If you're here, you may be looking for a way to heal from past traumas, reduce anxiety or depression, or simply improve your overall well-being. EMDR Therapy (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful and effective treatment that can help you achieve these goals.

EMDR Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that was developed in the 1980s to help people who have experienced traumatic events. It has since been found to be effective for a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, phobias, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

During an EMDR Therapy session, a trained therapist will guide you through a series of eye movements or other bilateral stimulation (such as tapping or auditory tones) while you focus on a particular memory or negative thought. This process helps to activate the brain's natural healing and processing abilities, allowing you to move past any stuck points or blocks in your healing process.

EMDR Therapy has been extensively researched and is endorsed by the American Psychological Association as an effective treatment for PTSD. It can be a helpful addition to other forms of therapy, or it can be used as a standalone treatment.

If you're ready to take the next step in your healing journey, we invite you to reach out to us to learn more about EMDR Therapy and how it can help you. Our trained therapists are here to support you and guide you through this process.

Why should you talk with a therapist?

A therapist is like a friend ~
one who cares about You and tells you the truth.
What's more is that they understand human behavior
and how we can live our very best life.
And they'll tell you the truth.
